I find serenity
through the weight of a camera
in my hands.
From the perspective of my feet, the city is my playground.
My fingers sometimes forget
they behold a $1000+
of some of humanity's finest engineering
and I could sware
the camera sometimes start firing
on its own.
The experience of pinning down
a beam of light
carries more meaning
than any product that comes out of it.
May I find serenity
through the click of my shutter
never too early
never too late -
taking a 1/4000 of a second of a bite
out of life
when moments finally mature.
